Many of us have dreamed at one time about living in a home that offers everything we can imagine: The Dream Home. But when it comes down to it, are custom homes just for the incredibly wealthy? We can show you that this is not the case! There are of course many factors to consider when taking this path, but with the right team, creating your dream home will be a fun and rewarding project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Custom homes are considered a risky investment, and so a high credit rating is a must. You will also be required to put down a percentage (20%-25%) at the start of your build, so make sure that your finances are in order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Builder Interviews<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Northeastern Construction, we stress the importance of an initial interview. When you come in to our offices, this is your chance to get all your questions out of the way\u2014so brainstorm as much as possible! We\u2019ll ask you some questions as well, to make sure that you are prepared to move forward. Even if you don\u2019t have clear ideas and goals, don\u2019t worry. Conceptual meetings will give you all the inspiration you require.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conceptual Meetings<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before we hammer any nails, you\u2019ll be having multiple meetings with a Residential Designer, who will plot out how everything is going to come together. If you have specific ideas about what you require in a home, they can work with that. If not, they will have many properties they\u2019ve already designed for you to choose and alter to your taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then What?<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you are satisfied with the concept presented to you by our custom home designer, the bulk of the work will be passed on to your contractor. Your contractor will be your best friend through this process, managing all builders and subcontractors and making sure your home is built on time and is fully up to code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If at any point your dissatisfied with the work being done in your home, your contractor is the person who will make it right. Contractors have been through many builds and know the ins and outs of the industry. Northeastern Construction only employs the best, and we will always match you with the team most qualified for your unique job!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
